One On One Speaker Training

In this six-week course, students will learn how to prepare and deliver formal and informal speeches and how to overcome stage fright and build confidence in the process. Students will walk away with an increased ability to articulate their ideas, arguments and thoughts.

Dion, a certified motivational speaker and teacher, draws the students in to all of the possibilities effective public speaking can hold. He is truly inspirational and provides a comfortable setting for students to develop their skills. You will be participating in live video conferencing sessions, where you can be seen in action.

Description:
This program is designed for speakers who are starting out in their speaking business or at the very least need help getting going. Every week, for one month, you will receive a 'course' via email on what you need to do to become a speaker.

Topics Include:

· Learning to control stage fright

· Fashioning an attractively appropriate appearance

· Using body language confidently

· Commanding the stage

· Triumphing over nervous habits

· Connecting emotionally with audience

· Speaking as though conversing with one person

· Mastering dramatic inflections and pauses

· Developing a Neutral or Standard American accent

· Answering questions competently and with charm

· Acquiring on-camera techniques

· Determining your own brand of humor
